Responsibilities
- Execute weekend financial closing procedures including reconciliations and journal entries
- Process payroll and vendor payments with weekend-specific deadlines
- Generate weekend financial reports for executive review
- Manage weekend accounts receivable/payable operations
- Assist with month-end closing activities during weekends
- Maintain accurate weekend transaction logs and documentation
- Collaborate with weekday accounting teams for seamless handovers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Weekend availability required (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday)
