Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures with a high degree of accuracy.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and collections.
- Assist with the preparation of payroll data and tax filings where required.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
