Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile weekly payroll transactions and bank statements.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable specifically for weekend cycles.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and trial balances.
- Perform internal audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with the week-day finance team to ensure seamless information flow.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience in an accounting role, preferably within a weekend or night shift capacity.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
