Job Summary
As a Weekend Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. You will be responsible for various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance during our off-peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Ensure all financial data is backed by proper documentation and audit trails.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
