Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks and reconcile bank accounts for the weekend period.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparation and filing.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal company policies.
- Review and audit general ledger entries for accuracy and discrepancies.
- Communicate complex financial findings to the management team clearly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
