As a Weekend Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will handle month-end close processes, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting during our busy weekend shift. We offer a competitive benefits package and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account analysis for multiple clients.
- Execute month-end and year-end close procedures with high accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, income statements, and balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls.
- Assist in the audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or firm setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are essential.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with flexibility.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
