Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for corporate and individual clients
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation
- Execute weekend payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Conduct weekend bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support weekend month-end closing procedures and journal entries
- Assist with weekend tax preparation and documentation for seasonal filings
- Implement weekend financial controls and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and weekend tax compliance protocols
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid NY State accounting license or willingness to obtain
