Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Assist in tax planning strategies to optimize client financial outcomes
- Review financial documents to identify potential deductions and credits
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex tax cases and audits
- Maintain accurate client records and tax documentation systems

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting or tax firm
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and Florida state tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Lacerte, UltraTax)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Active CPA license or pursuing CPA certification required
