Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Execute complex month-end closings with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable with rigorous reconciliation protocols
- Lead sales tax filings and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Mentor junior bookkeepers while maintaining client relationships
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent designation required
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Deep understanding of GAAP and sales tax regulations (TX focus)
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0% reconciliation error tolerance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
