Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 15+ employees
- Oversee QuickBooks software optimization and data integrity
- Coordinate annual audits and support tax preparation processes
- Implement and improve financial controls and reporting systems
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros)
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
