Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and controls
- Lead tax preparation and compliance activities
- Mentor junior accounting staff and maintain internal control documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
