Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparations
- Implement and optimize internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in senior roles
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in GAAP standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with remote teams and stakeholders
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
