Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely reconciliations
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and month-end closing procedures
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Lead accounts payable/receivable team (3-5 members)
- Develop financial models for strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Texas CPA license or actively pursuing certification
