Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, WI state laws)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with 100% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies within SLA timelines
- Generate quarterly tax forms (941, 940, W-2) and year-end reports
- Lead payroll system testing during upgrades and process improvements
- Train HR and finance teams on payroll procedures and policy updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or 5+ years payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent SaaS platform expertise
- Proven multi-state payroll compliance knowledge (WI, IL, MN)
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table proficiency
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Experience with garnishment processing and tax law updates
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
