Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 small business clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Maintain QuickBooks Online and Excel reporting systems
- Provide financial consulting to clients during growth phases
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax preparation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- CPA or CPA candidate highly desirable
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
