Responsibilities
- Execute daily/monthly financial close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with zero-error tolerance
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 500+ employees
- Implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with audit teams during quarterly/annual reviews
- Maintain accurate fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations (IRS/Federal)
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 2 AM, Sunday - Thursday)
