Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, month-end/quarter-end/year-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Conduct financial audits and implement internal controls to ensure operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations and prepare tax documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders
