Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payment cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of financial reporting accuracy
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex)
- Strong analytical skills with problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- QuickBooks certification highly desirable
