Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with CFO on budgeting forecasting and strategic financial initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve financial discrepancies proactively
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows for efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a tech or startup environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and advanced Excel functions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Proven ability to manage month-end closing processes independently
- Exceptional analytical skills with high accuracy standards
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Immediate availability to start within 1-2 weeks
