Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable with meticulous attention to detail
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely tax compliance
- Generate monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Manage bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor relationships
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Implement and maintain efficient bookkeeping systems using QuickBooks
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) a plus
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
