Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor relationships
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance filings
- Implement and improve accounting systems and controls
- Support annual audits and tax preparation processes
- Train staff on financial procedures and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of month-end closing success
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (QB ProAdvisor, CPB, or similar) preferred
