Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable with 100% accuracy
- Process payroll for 50+ employees bi-weekly
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Manage QuickBooks software and bank reconciliations
- Handle sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Support annual audits and tax preparation processes
- Oversee expense reporting and vendor payment cycles
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of financial statement preparation
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Illinois tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
