Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and prepare monthly financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations while managing sales/use tax filings
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with detailed journal entries
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, payroll processing, and sales tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
