Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Ensure GAAP compliance and conduct internal audits/reconciliations
- Collaborate with leadership on budget forecasting and cost analysis
- Oversee tax preparation and filing processes for federal/state requirements
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP)
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations
- Lead month-end closing procedures and reporting deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis and forecasting
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
