Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end close
- Prepare accurate financial statements and executive dashboards for leadership
- Lead tax compliance initiatives and coordinate external audits
- Analyze financial trends to optimize cash flow and cost reduction strategies
- Implement and improve internal controls for financial data integrity
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process automation initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with macros
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Nevada tax codes
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements
