Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and maintain accurate ledgers
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to leadership
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax preparation
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems and processes
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for multiple departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
