Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a nightly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Support the Payroll department with late-night processing accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) are a plus.
