Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review by management.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Monitor budget variances and provide detailed financial insights to the finance team.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation in compliance with company policy.
- Process payroll and expense reports efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with various departments.
