Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and audits.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance to identify variances and recommend solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience (required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
