Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update the company's fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) a plus.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
