Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring all invoices are accurate and paid timely.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with the finance team to assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus but not required.
