Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts and reconciliation of bank statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform internal audits and assist external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
