Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full compliance.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and support external audits as needed.
- Collaborate with the management team to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong plus.
