Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records
- Generate monthly financial statements and reports for executive review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing during night shift
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software for real-time data entry
- Support month-end closing procedures and audits as required
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift or remote work
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial documentation
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Valid New Mexico driver's license and reliable transportation
