Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports with zero tolerance for errors
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CFOs on tax preparation and strategic financial planning initiatives
- Lead month-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP standards
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Proven track record of streamlining financial operations and reducing processing time
