Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and compliance reports.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
