Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze variance reports and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with strict compliance controls
- Prepare tax documentation and support external audit processes
- Maintain GAAP-compliant financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Lead cross-departmental budget forecasting and analysis initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP platforms
- Proven ability to manage month-end closes with zero material errors
- Texas CPA license or actively pursuing certification
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to regulatory compliance
- Strong written communication for stakeholder reporting
