The Role:
We are looking for a proactive individual who can handle the full cycle of bookkeeping with precision and efficiency. You will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and Xero.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform necessary month-end close procedures.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing as required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
