Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and expense audits to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of local, state, and federal tax filings and ensure timely submissions.
- Collaborate with department heads to budget and forecast financial performance.
- Maintain and organize fixed asset registers and inventory records.
- Assist in internal and external audits as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
