Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for all financial transactions.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing compliance as required.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and expense tracking.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
