Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare daily cash reports for the night shift leadership.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Process payroll entries and maintain accurate employee time records.
- Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and securely stored.
- Communicate financial discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of North Carolina tax regulations is a plus.
