Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the review process.
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecast financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, urgent environment.
