Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Conduct internal audits and implement necessary controls to prevent errors.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and budget forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
