Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and local tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system and internal financial databases.
- Prepare budget reports and assist in financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, federal, state, and local financial legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and advanced spreadsheet functions.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
