Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Coordinate annual audit processes and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop financial forecasts and budget variance analysis
- Lead month-end closing procedures with accuracy timelines
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Tax preparation knowledge for multi-state operations
