Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with precision
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client financial outcomes
- Manage client relationships through proactive communication and documentation
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem, Lacerte, CCH) for efficient processing
- Collaborate with senior advisors on complex tax matters and audits
- Stay current with evolving tax legislation and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Expert knowledge of IRS regulations and tax codes
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
