Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and provide compliance guidance to clients
- Utilize tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx) for efficient processing
- Review financial documents and identify potential tax-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex tax scenarios
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (internship acceptable)
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred (not required)
