Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and provide compliance guidance on complex tax codes
- Assist in audit support and documentation preparation for IRS inquiries
- Collaborate with senior advisors on tax planning strategies for high-net-worth clients
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure adherence to tax deadlines
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte) for efficient return processing
- Participate in continuous training on evolving tax legislation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (CPA or EA candidates strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Active CPA license or pursuit of CPA certification
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
