Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve tax-related inquiries and issues.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Collaborate with senior managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
- Stay updated on emerging tax legislation and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA eligible preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to obtain necessary professional certifications (e.g., CPA, EA).
