Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies and deductions optimization
- Utilize ProSystem fx, Lacerte, and other tax software for document processing
- Communicate with clients regarding tax documentation and filing requirements
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex tax cases
- Maintain accurate client records and confidential information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to learn tax software systems through paid training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to obtain CPA or EA certification within 2 years
- Valid Texas driver's license (client visits required)
- Pass background check and drug screening
